Welcome to the unofficial site for Bossier Republicans. It is our hope this web site will serve to keep the citizens of Bossier Parish abreast of issues, election, and candidates in our local area. We encourage those of you who are interested in becoming more involved in the political scene to join us. There are many areas where you will be able to serve. To those of you who have ever considered public office, we want to encourage you to do so. If you're a novice in politics and want to run for an office, we'll try to give you a few pointers in the art of campaigning. The Republican party needs good candidates. It is the elected officials job to run the government, government's job to ensure our "right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" and it takes good people to do that, it also takes all the good people to go to the polls. Bad government is the consequence of good people staying home and not voting on election day. One more thought -- politics is a serious business -- BUT IT'S SO MUCH FUN!
